 Features:

  1. Standard 24-volt DC supply (working normally within 18-30 volt range);
  2. Output form: NPN/PNP;
  3. Built-in direct control signal system;
  4. Provide visual alarm function (led flashing signal);
  5. Convenient installation and special cable (or interface);
  6. The sensitivity of the sensor can be adjusted according to the requirements of customers (suitable for different spinning processes);
  7. It is suitable for winding tube, twisting thread, blending wire and composite fiber deformation, doubling, texturing, spinning machines.

Main Function

Optical yarn sensor can detect the working of various yarns on textile machines. If the yarn breaks or stops, yarn sensor will indicate a default situation and give the information to the operator by means of LED or give signal to stop device or yarn cutter.

Working Principle

As the thread passes through an infrared beam, the variations are processed by the electronic circuits of the optical yarn sensor.
Infrared reflective yarn break sensors are suitable for applications where there is no contact with the yarn. They are also suitable for yarn break monitoring in warping creels or for detecting yarn presence before starting the machine. They are fitted with special highly sensitive sensors for colored yarns
.

Applications:

In Chemical Fiber machine, fore-spinning machines, when the breakage of stoppage of one or more yarns are detected by the sensor, the sensor will give the operator on duty an alarm with a visible LED flaring signal. It will simultaneously send out an electrical signal to the yarn cutter in order to cut off the broken yarn and grip the cut end by the device attached to the yarn cutter itself.
In winding, spinning, twisting machines, the yarn should be cut off when the bobbin is full.
Optical yarn detectors are suitable to wide range of natural or synthetic yarns. It can detect yarns which are ballooning, traversing or travelling in straight paths. This detector can be mounted up to 5/10mm from the yarn track.
